A problem was discovered specific to USB-equipped systems. USB systems would appear to freeze when a dialog box was presented during a HotSync® operation. The included file "HotSync Libraries" in this folder fixes that problem. Follow the instructions below for setup. (NOTE: This file can be used for non-USB systems as well).
Installing your new HotSync Libraries file
1. Locate the HotSync® Manager application (typically located in the "Palm" folder) and double-click to launch it.
2. Click the tab labeled "HotSync Controls"
3. If the "Enabled" radio button is selected, click "Disabled" (if "Disabled" is selected, simply quit HotSync® Manager)
4. Select Quit from the File menu
5. Move the current HotSync Libararies file from your Palm folder to the trash.
6. Move the new HotSync Libraries File to your Palm folder
7. Double-click the HotSync® Manager application and click "Enabled" on the HotSync Controls tab.
8. Select Quit from the File menu.
9. Empty the trash to remove the old HotSync Libraries file from your system.
